National SHEP Coordinator’s Visit to YHFG

The National Coordinator of the School Health Education Programme (SHEP), Mrs. Esi Ayenba Inkoom, and her colleague Madam Ellen as part of their tour to the Upper East Region, paid a courtesy call to YHFG to interact with Management and Staff.
She commended YHFG and its “Evidence to Action – Sexual Health Education Advocacy Project (EA-SHEAP) which has been documenting the necessary data and evidence as part of YHFG’s contribution to support the Ghana Education Services and her unit (SHEP) to adopt and implement the national guidelines on Age-Appropriate Sexuality Education as an integrated curricular activity in basic and high schools in Ghana. YHFG’s Management and Staff are grateful to Madam Esi and SHEP for acknowledging our contributions to the national-level discourse.
