The Youth Harvest Foundation Ghana, in collaboration with Plan International, with support from Global Affairs Canada, has launched a project dubbed “Pogmenka” (Ideal woman) in the Bongo and Nabdam districts of the Upper East Region. The project aims at contributing to the reduction of gender inequalities and increased female participation in decision-making at the community level. It also has a skills training component meant to empower women to be financially stable. Stakeholders at the launch were impressed with the initiative and pledged their support for successful implementation.
